Compassion Is Messy: A Call To Radical Love

Pastor Kevin Rutledge - 3/9/2025 10:00 AM

True compassion is rarely convenient. It disrupts our schedules, challenges our priorities, and requires more than just good intentions—it calls us to action and presence. In this first Sunday of Lent, we explore two powerful stories in Luke 10:25-42: The Good Samaritan, where love is costly and inconvenient, and Mary & Martha, where Jesus reminds us to be fully present.

Join us as we reflect on how Jesus calls us to embrace the messiness of love—both in service and in presence. Worship with us in person or online, and take the challenge to love boldly, even when it’s disruptive.

Scripture:
